Textpattern's Official Release
Today, it has finally happened! And why bother with a 1.0 moniker when you can have a shiny new Version 4.0 designation?
I can almost hear Jon Hicks crying out, “cheese and wine for everyone!” I need not speculate, as he appears to have brought his own cheese. But I must give homage to him as the one who introduced me to this fantastically simple and elegant content management system.
Congratulations are also in order for Dean, Zem, Kusor, Sencer and the entire development team and community at Textpattern for their work to bring this software to this significant milestone since it was first introduced in July 2001. I find Textpattern to be one of tools I find most indispensable.
With Strongspace and Textpattern now released, TextPanel may not be far behind.
It also appears that Textpattern now has its own blog. Add yours to the list of sites powered by Textpattern 4.0.
